A little about us:

Early 2023, three exceptionally talented attorneys, David Robinson, Jordan Sharpes, and Nathan Coulter, joined up to found BSR Legal Group, and the rest is history.

Since then our team has spent countless hours refining our methods and process to deliver exceptionally efficient, professional, and customized legal solutions to our clients.

Jessica Robinson

Senior Paralegal

The firm would be lost without Senior Paralegal, Jessica Robinson, no one more so than her husband, Founding Partner David A. Robinson, with whom she has worked tirelessly since 2011. Jessica received her Associate of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from National College of Business and Technology in 2004 and graduated Magna Cum Laude at Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies in 2017. Jessica went on to receive her Juris Master degree from Liberty University in 2018 and maintained a GPA of 3.86, all while working full-time for Mr. Robinson. Jessica provides assistance with complex legal research, multifaceted legal writing, preparation of trial notebooks and she assists with trial strategy, evidence collection, and sometimes attends trial. Jessica takes pride in her work and in the care, compassion, and service she provides to clients.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her Husband and two stepsons. Her hobbies include horseback riding, hiking, biking, painting, and reading.

Sydney Cooper

Receptionist

Sydney was born and raised in Roanoke, VA. She graduated from Lord Botetourt in 2019 and attended Virginia Western Community College. After navigating several majors, she decided to pursue Dental Hygiene. Sydney joined BSR Legal Group in 2021, and considers everyone here at the firm family. Outside of work, Sydney enjoys reading, hiking, shopping, and spending time with her loved ones.

Alvaro "Al" Pomar

Paralegal

Al is the legal assistant to attorney David A. Robinson. Apart from handling Mr. Robinson's Court calendar, he also assists the attorney in the litigation process by drafting court documents and legal correspondence, facilitating client-attorney communications, and providing him support in case management, background research, and investigations.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Al is a 2015 graduate of Florida Atlantic University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology. He has been working in the legal field as a paralegal for 8 years, holding positions at both large and boutique firms in Florida and Virginia. Outside of work, Al is an avid motorcyclist.

Liz Majeski

Paralegal

Liz was born and raised in New Jersey and relocated to the Roanoke area in 2014. Liz attended Virginia Western Community College and earned her Associate in Applied Science and Administrative Professional Certificate. Shortly after graduating, she started her journey into the legal field.

Liz started as a receptionist at a Roanoke law firm and worked her way up to a paralegal position. After three years of being a family law paralegal, she decided she was ready for new opportunities. Liz is now the paralegal to Jordan Sharpes and handles his calendar, drafting legal pleadings, managing case files, and building relationships with clients.
